At River Ridge Charity Horse Show (the first show of the '06 season), Jimmy had made his way to the concession stand to help himself to a Diet Mountain Dew -- his signature drink -- and a large cup of French fries. On his way back to the barn to share with Helen (we know, he's such a big spender ...), a horse unseated his rider and was loose on the showgrounds. The horse ran near Jimmy, who made a strategic move. With the Dew in one hand, and the cup of fries in his teeth, he reached out and caught the runaway horse with his free hand. He arrived at the stalls and handed Helen the food, saying, "And I didn't spill a drop." An inquisitive look from his wife prompted him to tell how he caught the horse without losing a single French fry. Helen was impressed.
But, less impressed than was Will Harris, who heard about the incident that evening and commented:
"Good thing he wasn't carrying White Castles.
He'd have let that horse go."
